Industrial RS-485/RS-422 Converter/Repeater

The CATAL- 4022 is a compact, rugged, industrial grade bi-directional RS-485/RS-422 converter. It converts a two-wire RS-485 signal into a four-wire RS-422 signal, and vice versa.

This converter can also work as RS-485 or RS-422 repeater to extend the RS-485 or RS-422 distance to up to 1.2km (4000 ft).

It supports data direction auto-turnaround, and therefore, no software drivers or fl ow control is required. This make the device fully plug-and play.

The unit is powered by an external 5VDC power supply The CATAL- 4022 has two db-9 male connectors, one for each RS-485/RS-422 side.
