The CATAL- 4015 is an industrial-grade RS-232 to 5V TTL converter. It converts TX and RX of RS-232 lines to a 5V TTL signal and vice versa. It supports data direction auto-turnaround, and therefore, no software drivers or flow control is required. The unit can be powered from the RS-232 port or from an external 5VDC power supply. A reverse polarity of the external power supply is applied.
